ORDER OF SERVICE

• CALL TO WORSHIP
  I will extol the Lord at all times; His praise will always be on my lips. I will glory in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and rejoice. Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt His Name together. I sought the Lord, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to Him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; He saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the Lord encamps around those who reverently fear Him, and He delivers them. In the presence of Father, Son and Holy Spirit, in company with all the angels and with this assembled community, let us exalt his name together.

• PRAYER OF CONFESSION         
  Leader: I invite you to be seated or to kneel and to pray aloud with me the words that are printed here.
  
  All: Almighty Father, You are the source of every good and perfect gift. We praise Your name for the greatest and most perfect gift: Your son, our Lord Jesus Christ. But in lifting him up, we humble ourselves before You. We confess to You, not only our sins of omission in failing to do what we know is right, but also our sins of commission in doing what You forbid. O Lord, we are weak and feeble, slow to confess our sins and prone to wander from the path of righteousness. Do not deal with us as our sins deserve but wash us clean in the blood of the Lamb and empower us by Your Spirit to live to honor and serve our Savior King. We praise You that he was born like us that we might become like him. In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. Members Meeting: Please join us after church today for a members meeting. The meeting will begin immediately after church in the cafeteria and will last for one hour. Please check your email to make sure that you received a ballot!

2. Youth Fundraisers: Please support the youth ministry in the following ways.

• Buy Thai-inspired chili crisp oil: $8 and $16 (made by Patrick Flanagan)
• Donate to support youth camp. Please make sure to indicate your gift towards youth camp by selecting "other" and writing "winter camp."

3. Life Groups: Groups start this week! We encourage you to join a weekly gathering to study the Word of God, enjoy community (and food), and pray for each other. Click here to download the flyer.

4. CROSSwalk: If you would like to help serve the children in our Sunday Crosswalk classes, we could use your help! In particular, we are in need helpers in the elementary class. If you are already cleared to serve, please consider signing up by emailing debaliu@gmail.com. If you are interested in volunteering for Crosswalk, but have not going through the onboarding process, please reach out to Kelli Vos at: kelli.m.miller@gmail.com

6. Faith and Finances: David and Shari Uyematsu will lead a new cohort of Faith and Finances. Learn about financial stewardship and gain practical skills. Classes will take place on Sundays from 12:00 – 2:30, 2/4 to 4/21. RSVP by Sunday, January 28 to david.uyematsu@gmail.com or shariuye@yahoo.com

7. Tutoring: We've restarted tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Family Center. If you would like to serve, please contact Khuloud at familycenter@folcov.org.
