  • ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • CALL TO WORSHIP (Revelation 21:3-6)

  • SONG OF ADORATION

  • PRAYER OF CONFESSION:
O Lord, we openly admit that you know us thoroughly. Our deepest secrets are open before you. You know our thoughts before they are conceived in our minds. We cannot hide from you. Therefore, we ask that you reveal our sins to us, so that we may humble ourselves again in your presence and seek your forgiveness and grace. We admit we have tolerated sinful thoughts about power, lust, greed, jealousy, malice and other things that grieve your heart. We have committed sins of omission and commission. But we seek your mercy and cleansing from our sins by the blood of Christ. And we thank you for your Spirit who enables us to walk in holiness and obedience. Give us the grace to please you this day and forever. In Jesus’ name, AMEN.

  3. MINISTRY LEADERS MEETING
On Saturday, May 10, there will be an important meeting for all teams that lead ministries across our church to think about budget planning for the 25-26 fiscal year, to revisit vision and mission statements, and to talk about what the summer will look like at FOL. If you are a part of a team that leads a ministry at FOL, you are strongly encouraged to attend the meeting. Continental breakfast will be served at 8:30am and the meeting will begin promptly at 9-11am, at the Family Center. Click here to RSVP.

  4. WESTSIDE BEACH STREET EVENT
Also on Saturday, May 10, the Westside Beach Street Open Streets will take place from 11am-5pm. Hosted by the City of LB, this event will uplift the City’s Westside Promise Initiative, a 10-year community investment plan that aligns existing City efforts to face challenges on the Westside. The event route will be on Willow Street and Santa Fe Avenue. Entertainment hubs along the route will feature live music, a kid zone, food trucks and more. Bring family and friends to enjoy time supporting the Westside. Please note that there will be street closures on Willow between Long Beach Blvd and Santa Fe, and on Santa Fe, South of Willow. Click here for more information. Click here for street closure information.

  5. LAUP SAVE-THE-DATE
We are excited to announce that our proposed dates for LAUP (Los Angeles Urban Project) are June 26-July 27.
