  Holy Father, forgive us. Though you should guide us, we inform ourselves. Though you should rule us, we control ourselves. Though you should fulfill us, we console ourselves. For we think your truth too high, your will too hard, your power to remote, your love too free. But they are not! And without them, we are of all people most miserable. Heal our confused mind with your word, heal our divided will with your law, heal our troubled conscience with your love, heal our anxious hearts with your presence, all for the sake of your Son, who loved us and gave himself for us.  AMEN

ANNOUNCEMENTS

1.  FAMILY CENTER PACK-UP DAY
   On Saturday, May 31st, from 8am-2pm we will have an opportunity to help pack-up the Family Center before Bill and the team begin demolition work! Please consider joining in this time of sorting, packing, and throwing out items, while thanking the Lord for all He has done in the last era and making way for the new. You are welcome to come for the whole time, or in whatever slots during the day that you are available. Lunch, snacks, and drinks will be provided.
   
   
2. FAMILY CAMP ALTERNATIVE DISCUSSION GROUP
   We are looking to gather a group of people who are interested in discerning what a Family Camp alternative could look like for our church. If you have a desire to be a part of a brainstorming discussion, Gaby Schmidt will be leading the time on Sunday, June 1, 12:45-2:30 pm at her home (3844 Brayton Ave, LB 90807). Please fill out this Google Form to indicate your interest and if you are able to attend. This would just be a brainstorming time and does not mean a further commitment from you after that meeting. Thank you very much for your input!  
   
   
3. PASTORAL PRAYER
   Pastor Kim would love to be able to pray for you. If you have any prayer concerns please let her know by entering your request on this form. You do not need to share your identity - it can be completely confidential if this is your preference. One the primary roles of your pastor, or of any spiritual leader, is to carry you on their heart and to therefore carry you into the presence of God as they pray for you.
