  Holy Father, we confess that we may approach you with our mouths and our lips, when our hearts are not in worship. We confess that we offer to you that which costs us little. Though you are a great King, we often bring to you the leftovers of our time, energy, gifts, and worship. We have neglected your commands when it is inconvenient for us to keep them. We have ignored your laws when it causes us to lose our ease. We have disregarded our neighbors' needs, and wondered aloud why other people do not meet our needs. O Father, have mercy on us! Forgive us of our many debts! Cleanse us and give us the mind and heart of Jesus, who came not to be served but to serve and to give His life a ransom for many. In His name, and for His sake, we come to you. Amen.

1. COMMUNITY INCLUSION SEMINAR
   We live and move and share our faith in a wildly varied mosaic of ethnicities and cultures. This makes our relationships and communication so very fascinating…. and also complex! The Community Inclusion team would like to invite you to an interactive seminar called Navigating the Invisible: 3 Worldviews, coming up on Saturday February 21st, from 9-11 a.m., at Long Beach Church on 37th and Atlantic. With a self assessment, short presentation on 3 types of worldviews, and interactive practice, you will learn to understand yourself and others with respect to worldview drivers, and you’ll leave with some tools to navigate intercultural situations. Come with an open heart and mind, and please share a bagel and coffee breakfast with us! And bring kids; childcare will be available on site. 2. ASH WEDNESDAY SERVICE
   Please join us for our Ash Wednesday Service on Wednesday, February 18 at 7pm. The service will be at Long Beach Church (Long Beach Church, 3707 Atlantic Ave, Long Beach, CA 90807; corner of Atlantic Ave. & 37th Street). All are welcome. Please feel free to invite family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors. We look forward to this time of beginning the season of Lent with you.
   
   
3. WORSHIP MINISTRY
   Do you love to sing and can carry a tune? Play a musical instrument? Like to fiddle with buttons and levers and want to make sure everyone can hear the music? We invite y'all to talk to Dan Palomino about serving on the worship team. We are in need of singers, instrumentalists and people for sound board.
   
   
4. THE WELL GALENTINE’S DAY
   Celebrate Galentine's Day with the Well on Sunday February 22, after church at 2nd and PCH for food, fun, and roller skating. Skating is totally optional, so please come just for lunch, crafts, and community if you prefer!
