Announcements and Reminders Recap

Hi FOL Family,

In case you have missed announcements provided via Slack, at Sunday service, at the Members Meeting, here is a recap:

Website:

• Our website is being updated including the addition of a new MyFOL page, where documents of interest will be stored (budget for the year, constitution, recent financial reports, staff role descriptions, etc). This is a password protected page. The password for the MyFOL page is: FOLcov#2026
• Additional updates include a new logo to reflect our vision, "Flourishing in Christ" (Jeremiah 17:7-8)
• Highlights include OurCity page with informative videos from Tim and Caroline, and Emily's welcoming Life Group video on OurCommunity page 

Announcements:

• The Well Tea Event, Saturday 4/25, 2-4pm in the Vos backyard (6537 E Harco St., LB 90809). Youth and elementary gals are welcome too. RSVP HERE
  
  
• This Sunday, 4/26 is our Beach Baptism service. We will not meet at Stephens, we'll be Rosie's Dog Beach. We are looking forward to celebrating with each person that will be baptized this Sunday, April 26, 10am at the beach. Following service, we will have light refreshments. If you would like to bring an item to contribute to the refreshments offering, please sign up HERE.
  
  Please bring your own chairs, blankets, towels, shade elements, anything that would make you feel comfortable at the beach.
  
  HERE is a map indicating the area where we will set up for our service.
  
  Parking: There will be a Beach Touch-A-Truck event occupying the public parking lot right near Rosie's Dog Beach, so that lot will not be open for public parking. There is a public parking lot (La Verne Parking Lot) at Ocean Blvd & La Verne and street/residential parking. Please plan accordingly.
  
  Families: We will have an EZ-Up set up for the children to play under during the service. You are invited to bring your own sand toys and items that will make you and your children comfortable. We will not have Crosswalk volunteer help for this service.
  
  
  
• Community Inclusion Seminar on Saturday, May 2, 1-3pm, Clash of Cultures, an immersive experience. The seminar will be held at Westside Christian Church (1594 W. Willow Street). Childcare will be provided. Please RSVP to Christina via text at 562-350-1909
  
  
• Appreciation Gathering for Pastor Kim on Sunday, May 3, 3-5pm at Grace LB, Social Hall (3601 Linden Ave, Long Beach, CA 90807). Please check your email for a separate message that has specific details on this time of honoring her or reach out to Debbie Liu.
