  • COMMUNITY CONFESSION:
Almighty Father, You are the source of every good and perfect gift. We praise Your name for the greatest and most perfect gift: Your son, our Lord Jesus Christ. But in lifting Him up, we humble ourselves before You. We confess to You, not only our sins of omission in failing to do what we know is right, but also our sins of commission in doing what You forbid. O Lord, we are weak and feeble, slow to confess our sins and prone to wander from the path of righteousness. Do not deal with us as our sins deserve but wash us clean in the blood of the Lamb and empower us by Your Spirit to live to honor and serve our Savior King. We praise You that He was born like us that we might be- come like Him. In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. TACO SUNDAY
Please join us, directly following service today, for our taco lunch! There is a suggested donation of $9 per adult and $5 per child (12 and under), however please do not let money be a barrier to having tacos! We would be delighted to have you join us as our guest. We are excited to have time with you all. We hope that you will be able to stay for this time of fellowship.

  2. FALL PICNIC
Please mark your calendars for next Sunday, November 1st. Right after service, we’ll gather at Silverado Park from 12:30 to 3:00 for our Fall Picnic. There will be free pizza, games, and live music… fun for the whole family. Just bring a chair or a blanket to sit on. It will be a wonderful occasion to spend time together. All are welcome. Feel free to invite family, friends, and neighbors. We hope to see you there!

  3. TITHES AND OFFERINGS
You may give online HERE or place your offering in the wooden box to the right of the stage.

PRAYER OPPORTUNITIES DURING WORSHIP

Light A Candle:
To the right of the stage is a table where you can light a candle and pray. The smoke rising is a symbolic representation of your prayer ascending to the heavens, into the very throne room of God. This access was made possible through Jesus, the Light of the world.

Write A Note:
Next to the candles we have note cards and a box to put them in. Some may choose to light a candle and write their prayer on a note. Others may choose to pass on the candles and submit a prayer. In both cases, our staff will pray for your requests during the week.

Come to the Altar:
You may have noticed the green pads surrounding the base of the stage. This is where you can come forward to be prayed for, to pray for someone, to respond to a call to repentance or salvation, or a number of other responses. The altar is always open.

While you don’t need to leave your seat to pray or respond to God’s prompting, many find it helpful to perform some sort of outward action to go along with God’s inward work, and to do so with others.
